Fine carbon rods and delicate steel wires are suspended within a transparent plexiglass structure, creating an almost immaterial composition that appears to float in space. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAs the viewer moves around the sculpture, the lines continually overlap and dissolve, generating ever- changing geometric configurations. Rather than defining space through mass, Dusépulchre constructs it through light, emptiness and perception. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDusépulchre (1934–2013) trained as an art teacher before turning, self-taught, to painting and sculpture.
