Description

This André dining table, designed by Tobia and Afra Scarpa for Gavina in the late 1960s, is a refined example of Italian mid-century modernism. Part of the Ultrarazionale series, it has chromed tubular steel legs connected to a brushed stainless-steel frame, which can be seen through the original thick smoked-glass top.

The combination of polished metal and dark tinted glass gives the table a sophisticated, architectural presence that fits effortlessly into both modern and classic interiors. Signed on the top and still carrying its original Gavina label, it is a highly desirable piece.

Versatile in function, the André can serve as a dining table, conference table, or statement centerpiece. The legs can be easily dismantled for transport.

The table is in very good condition, with only a small imperfection on the inside of one leg that is not noticeable in daily use.
