Description
This Flou Flou sofa, designed by the renowned Italian trio De Pas, D’Urbino and Lomazzi was produced by Ligne Roset in the late 1980s. It is a striking example of their playful yet sophisticated design language. Known for their bold approach to form and their ability to blend sculptural softness with functional comfort, the designers gained international recognition for iconic works that bridged art, architecture, and industrial design. Their creations often focused on generous volumes, soft silhouettes, and innovative use of materials, which are clearly visible in the Flou Flou model.
This rare three-seater showcases the flowing, cloud-like lines and substantial padding that define the piece. Upholstered in black leather with the original Ligne Roset fabric logo, the sofa features natural pleating and a beautiful patina that enhances both character and authenticity. It also comes with its original black leather cushion. Its enveloping shape makes it an ideal centerpiece in modern, eclectic, or design-forward interiors.
A collectible example of late-20th-century Italian design, the sofa remains in good condition, with the leather showing a refined, well-preserved patina.
