Description

This chaise longue is part of the MR Collection, representing some of the earliest steel furniture designs by Mies van der Rohe, created between 1927 and 1931. The material choice was inspired by fellow Bauhaus master Marcel Breuer, while the forms are thought to be modern derivatives of 19th-century iron rocking chairs. This Bauhaus armchair and footstool have been produced by Knoll since 1977.

The chaise longue comes with a matching stool and combines minimalist design with luxurious comfort. Featuring a sleek stainless steel frame and rich leather seating, its cantilevered structure offers both elegance and relaxation. A true masterpiece of modernism, this iconic chaise is perfect for any space, blending art and functionality with timeless appeal. It is marked: Knoll Studio Mies van der Rohe.
